NEXT: Global Shorts

'Next' is the generic name for a series of festivals that deal with youth film-making and gives us a good idea about next-generation film-making. Most of the films tend to come from well-known film schools around the world. The first edition is called 'Next: Global Shorts' (Mumbai, July, 2012) and will be followed by 'Next-Ibero-American Shorts' (Delhi, 2012) and 'Next: Indian Shorts' (across several cities of Europe and Latin America). The partners of every event keep changing though the curators remain the same.  Visit the site for details.

'Rediscovering Tagore' (Amaranta, 2011)

Amaranta is the publishing imprint of the Indo-Latin American Cultural Initiative (ILACI).  It is dedicated to publishing Indian literature in Spanish and vice versa. Its first title, 'Redescubriendo a Tagore' (eds. Shyama Prasad Ganguly & Indranil Chakravarty) was supported by Sahitya Akademi (India) and the Spanish Embassy in India. Currently there are five  titles in preparation.

My book in Spanish, 'Redescubriendo a Tagore' (Amaranta, 2011) [Rediscovering Tagore] is now available online and ready to be delivered by courier to any place in the world. I am thankful to Uread.com for offering the reader such a generous discount:
